Indigenous Women’s March for the Amazon |
On March 8, indigenous women of the Ecuadorian Amazon marched and demonstrated in Puyo, Ecuador to demand an end to extractive industries in the rainforest. |

Delegation for the Sacred Headwaters Project |
Indigenous and environmental leaders from the North and South visited the rainforest and met to explore ideas and partnerships for permanently protecting the Sacred Headwaters region. |

Sister Organization Re-opening in Ecuador |
In November of last year, Pachamama Alliance’s sister organization in Ecuador, Fundación Pachamama, was granted permission to re-open as an official NGO in Ecuador. |
